My family and I spent two nights in a lovely 3 bedroom apartment. It was beautifully furnished, very clean and so comfortable. The appliances worked well, the kitchen was well equipped and the view of the river was outstanding. We had only intended to stay one night, but we enjoyed the apartment and the quiet location so well that we didn't want to leave. There is a very nice walking path to the beach and also an extraordinary lookout in the national park across the river that is well worth the drive to view. Just a block or so away is a terrific little antique store that is so fun to browse through. I found some unique and reasonably priced treasures there. The innkeeper was especially kind and helpful. Stayed overnight on drive from Brisbane to Sydney. Spotless accom. in beautiful North Haven. The decor is new, crisp and classy. Kitchen well appointed. The beds were delightful and gifted us with a sound and silent sleep....the best I've ever had away from home.
We stayed in a ground floor, 2 bedroom unit at the front of the property. Really peaceful and lovely gardens. We left out DVD in the player and the owners posted it back the next day for us, so we could get the "DVD Back on time"! Thank you
I highly recommend Pelican H2O for overnight stays or longer. For the price, this was far superior to any alternative accommodation at nearby Port Macquarie (Nth Haven is about 20minutes South of Port.) We will be back! - Testimonial provided by Tripadvisor.com
